Custom Glazed Ceramics
This is "Voltage" a classic scale Thoroughbred mare sculpted by the incrediable Kristina Lucas-Francis and produced in earthenware ceramic in a very, very limited edition by Lucas Studio. I had the honor to custom glaze one of these classy pieces for Liz Strauss to a lovely dappled grey in satin, almost matte, finish after photos of a horse she sent as reference. She may have a few issues if she were a real horse, with tiny feet, etc but this piece is still a real classic with beautiful, artful grace and feminine form such as has rarely ever been captured in equine art. If the photos on your monitor make some of her grey points, or her hooves look black, adjust the brightness. Her feet especially are dark grey, not black!
