Custom Glazed Pieces
This little cutie is the AAA mini Friesian foal sculpted by Donna Chaney of England, and produced in fine bone china by Alchemy Ceramics. He has now been claybody customized by Paige Easley Patty with a thicker, slightly longer mane and tail, resculpted head with lowered eyes and new forelock, resculpted stoney base, slightly heavier hindquarters and a hint of neck wrinkles. He was then custom glazed to a light chestnut tobiano with strong sabino influence, particularly up through the shoulders. The pattern is inspired by a local pony that boards and trains near to me. This colt was then completed with a satin glaze finish with all work fired in the kiln! I believe that he would be an excellant representation of an American Spotted Draft colt of roughly four months of age.
Detail on this piece includes carefully rendered eyes, dirt and individual hair detailing in the feathers, and very feather soft hair ticking along the edges of the pattern. Some areas of the pattern roan out softly with or without body ticking in the fading areas. There is a reserve of $400.00 on this piece, a reasonably low reserve for a claybodied one of a kind foal of this quality and detail. This foal also comes with a satisfaction guarantee or your money back minus only any shipping, Ebay, and Paypal fees lost if returned undamaged within 7 days of postal delivery date. Additionally, all of my work comes with a limited life time warranty for free minor repairs if ever needed.
Shipping on this piece is expected to run $15.00 for Priority Mail, fully insured with delivery confirmation within the continental USA. Overseas shipping is Global Priority, fully insured, with online tracking and must be determined by shipping address. I accept and prefer USPS money orders for payment from US buyers, but I will also accept Paypal, and credti cards through Paypal. I accept Paypal ONLY from those have a confirmed shipping address and are located in the US, Canada, or UK as per Paypal's Seller Protection Policy. If you are an overseas buyer located in another country and do not qualify your purchase for the Seller Protection Policy, do not use Paypal. Instead I accept international bank drafts made out in US dollars - and will hold the shipment until this has cleared my bank.
