Custom Glazed Pieces
This is the mini "Hadrian", produced in fine ball milled earthenware ceramic by Joan Berkwitz of Pour Horse Pottery, and sculpted by the incomparable Sarah Rose. Intended to be a Dales pony, I have custom glazed this bisque to be a soft, barely dappled, faintly rosey grey, tobiano. He is detailed with a hint of sabino pattern evident in his chin spot and roany ticking. This piece was a joy to create for a wonderful client who decided that she wanted a simular pattern on another bisque in a warmer color instead. Good news for you is that this piece has become available for sale if I get an offer I can't refuse! "Adrian's Cobblestone" would make a fine, true Irish Tinker pony for any show string. This piece, finished with a satin glaze, has a darkish grey mane and leg points. If they appear to be black on your monitor, adjust your monitor's brightness to see him better. This piece stands just under 3 inches tall. I am very tempted to keep this fellow myself!
